I stand by that RPGs should not go for straight up sequels ever. As I understand this series in particular does eventually get rid of the anime high school angle that the first coldsteel game had, but seeing as the story between all the games is connected I cannot just skip that one either, instead being forced to cope with the highschool if I want to get to the actual intriguing parts of it.

Cs3 suffered from character bloat, some things make no sense from a political point of view of you think them seriously and I am not than fan of this harem idea but I really enjoyed the series. I really like the world building and the characters. I beat the Sky trilogy on PSP and Steam, watched the entirety of the Crossbell games with the fan translation on YouTube and then beat the three cold steel games. To be honest some conversations in cs3 made no sense if you had not played at least one game on Sky or Crossbell. Seems that the game released in Japan this month is sort of a sequel to cs4 with returning characters. I hope we see it in English. I would love to see what they do next but maybe it is a time to reboot Legend of Heroes. Or maybe they soft reboot it and go to the eastern part of the continent. 041b061a72
